An updated reference sheet for my fursona. He represents myself (Mehve) of course, but in the interest of giving him a proper name and identity as such, he has over time become his own character also, named Ashur. I imagine him to be a sort of wanderer, interested in the accumulation and preservation of knowledge- maps, ancient records and the like- who resides in a secluded library or observatory tower when he isn't traveling, down ancient roads and winding coasts and across an endless steppe, stopping at crumbling ruins and caravansaries along the way.

As for his design, he has a furred mane of charcoal or ash grey colored fur (hence the name) as well as a dark pewter color of fur elsewhere, and silver scales that appear iridescent upon close inspection. He has brass colored fur around his eyes and on his cheeks as well. He has a rather long tongue and a thick tail. The ref sheet includes some detailing for texture.

Of course, his design has gone through a number of iterations since I first tried to design a fursona for myself, so it is always subject to change- the character of Ashur as well- but I am pretty well pleased with the current state of things. I look forward to drawing additional art of him now that I've finally settled on a design I like.
