You haven't missed much yet. The first episode of the new season aired last Saturday morning. Within a few hours it was on YouTube, so you could probably catch it there. XD
And Discord is totally Q in a different wrapper. I was bouncing up and down like a little kid (I'm 33). There was a chocolate rain, too. I'm hoping to catch some kind of Picard reference in the next one (at least I hope they went there.)

Oh, absolutely! I was so excited, I was bouncing up and down. I knew it was him from the preview I saw on YouTube, but to see him being Q in a different body was still making me giddy. I hope there's at least one TNG reference in the next episode. Agh! Hurry up, Saturday!
Damn Noben, you managed to take the most awkward design possible and still make it badass without messing with it. That being said, John de Lancie was astounding in that role and so malevolent. Just hearing him berate Pinkie was enough to set him apart as being the darkest thing the show has seen yet. Not to mention showing Dash her home being destroyed. He is FUCKING AWESOME!
