It was a sunny day, school was out, and D'shea had invited Sasha over to hang out and workout for the evening. Now just to let you know now, how a dance pole got installed in D'Sheas garage is a tale for another day. But the fact of the matter is Sasha was left alone to discover this while D'Shea went inside to drop off his books..
Sasha + Boredom + Dance Pole = ...
He was definitely lost in the moment, dancing around the pole with his usual carefree attitude, letting his body writhe upside down into precarious positions. Clumsy but effective. He had taken his pants and shoes off so that the skin of his legs and feet could grip better than what his clothing allowed.
His tail snaked around the pole at the top to keep his balance while the rest of his extremities trembled with a workout that his muscles had rarely felt before as he struggled against gravity and the raw leveraging of his body around the pole to stay supported. The moments passed quickly.
After a couple of spins he leaned back into an exotic pose and slowly slid downward into the sun. The sound of ice shuffling in a cup and a quiet slurp on straw broke Sasha out of his trance. He snapped his eyes open to see D'Shea just ..staring.
"Dude, this thing is awesome." Sasha was quick to say.
"Dude.. " was about all D'shea could get out.
PS: IT'S A TRAP!!!
These are "kuvrahks", my own anthro draconic creation for my webcomic Altermeta. So yeah I explained that to explain that they are both guys in this picture. Sasha is just very, VERY femmy... And very straight. But D'Shea may have undetermined curiosities. Although after looking at Sasha and judging how most people react to him, I think D'Shea has every right to question his own sexuality. =-p

Well, all Kuvrahks are born intersexed. Once sexually mature, most become firmly set as either male or female. So there is still hope that Sasha end up as a girl by some freak event. Implausible but not impossible. If you want my opinion D'shea dream of it more often that he wish to.

The 'girly' poster on the wall, the car calendar.
The fact that despite his best intentions... D'shea is homing in on the wrong part of Sasha.
I do note Sasha appears to be sporting a 'bulge'. I'm guessing it may be his position on the pole.

I truly love that image, because I am always seriously caught up in fictional characters' love lives/unresolved sexual tension. First time I saw it is when someone watching Battlestar Galactica for the first time blogged about shipping two characters, and I immediately realized, "I must save this image, for I will use it constantly."
This could well be one of my most favorite pictures on FA ever. I love the design of the characters, and the expressions on their faces. I noticed, in looking at this picture on a better monitor, that the characters have the faintest hints of red in their cheeks; it is very subtle. Up until now, I'd been viewing it over a VNC session (adds jpeg compression artifacting) on a laptop display that has a fairly limited color gamut. There's so much detail in this image, from the folds in the poster to the unfinished garage walls, the window frame with the missing section of 2x4, the dust particles catching sunlight. Fantastic poses for both characters - I really like how D'shea is kneeling. You brought a moment to life with this picture.

I actually took my time on this one, about 13 hours of paced working rather than rushing through. And in hindsight I still see a LOT that I could have detailed more on, particularly in the background. But yeah I put a lot of thought into it, such as the dust particles (LOVE things like that) and the cheek blushes. The lighting itself was really fun as it was teh first time I really had a scenario where reflected light from the concrete could be used as a sort of "under" lighting. SUPER fun... I hope to do more like this, they're very relaxing to create.

*smiles* Love that description - I could just see Sasha getting lost in that. Nice to see him barefoot too. ^_^ With his personality though, I'm not sure he's even realize why D'Shea was staring, at least not at first. When he starts to realize how deadly a weapon his teasing can be... oi.
As for the art itself, it's gorgeous. You have wonderful action lines on Sasha and you did some great work with the lighting again. The simple background details really bring life to the image too.

Your April Fools in the comic has ruined all relationships for Sasha to me. D'shea and Sasha are the only coupling I can think of everytime I see them.
That being said and done, thank you for all your beautiful arts and the humour they cause.
