:) Well it looks cool anyway. Animating takes a lot of patience but it's so rewarding. Pixel animation is still animation, so you probably know what I mean! As for Flash, well I think that should depend on what kind of animating you want to do. Flash is a powerful but expensive program and depending on what you want to try, there are cheaper alternatives, like Digicel Flipbook, Anime Studio, TV Paint, or Plastic Animation Paper (free). *shrug*
...and YES 6~9; huuurghymuuuuuuurghy the pixeeeelz and slight tweeks~! X'D gargh!
when it's all done it's AWESOME though~ ^^-; too bad a lot of my DA-avatar efforts have had to be severely cut/cropped/mutilated just to make them fit/ussable on the site though.. 8'C

by upload, you mean chucking them up into your gallery? (as for advertising, ya have to go through Dragoneer, etc) I think ya can upload some gifs (within the size/dimension parametres) but need a 'preview' image for the thumbnail (it breaks that otherwise~) ^^;

You're totally right - I thought it didn't accept GIF's but I think I screwed up my test image somehow! Still, it takes forever to load every frame, so maybe I'll stick to Flash for the preloader.
And yes... PNG's are like the best internet image format in every way these days, except for how large their filesize can be. ^_^

there is a file-size limit on ad however, (for ads anywayz!) took quite the combined effort from both kradenand myself to get the ActFur on Air banner down under the limit~ \|'S
