and then I started watching LittleKureboh and Yu-Gi-Oh abridged

this happened- this horrible mashup of YGO style and my own.

I'll be explaining more when I get these commissions out of the way
Essentially it'll be a picture of your character "emulating" a popculture icon; form a book, game, movie, show or what have you
like this is myself "emulating" Pharaoh from Yu-Gi-Oh
though I'm still working out the cost; this one is a bit bigger than those will be since I wanted it to be my desktop o3o

Agreed, even most of the pictures I see are typical Dark Magician and Dark Magician girl or the human girls.
I've only seen one person other than me with a Red Eyes character and a few others like Blue Eyes, my White-Horned and the occasional lesser known ones. We need to bring more focus to it all sometime.

IF you enjoy it then try it. Even if you think you suck there's only one way to learn and improve. Afterall you don't have to do them exactly the same as the monsters official design. Look at my two girls Teama and NonaMay. Certainly not the same as the cards since they were adapted for a more anthro design. I'm sure if you give it a try you'll either learn to improve with monster designs or surprise yourself with how good it could be. :)
