Let me just say that I am loving your style. Not just concentrated to this piece here, but in general. While it's sketchy, it's still pretty clean. It shows you the shapes, while not being all HOLY SHIT THING PERFECT LINES. That's exactly what I've been aiming for, but haven't been able to achieve. It's very pretty. ;3;

For years I have tortured myself through self-criticisms because I couldn't be as perfect a the people on Deviantart or Tumblr.
Eventually I found a place where I was comfortable!! I have a long way to go because I'm still quite the amateur, and people have told me I need to clean it up, but I love sketchiness. In my opinion, it has so much more expression and emotion this way- I will never stop being sketchy. And part of it is simply practice and eventually falling into step as your hands/mind become attuned to your individual style. ^.^ I love passion and gusto, and movement through art (which is what i attempt to achieve) and I am so happy that you enjoyed my picture!

Yeah, FurAffinity is pretty nice. ^^ The only problem with it here is that a lot of people don't care about your unless you draw porn. >>
Oh, sketchy lines are nothing to be upset over, though! So many artists have styles that involve more than just clean lines, and their art still looks wonderful. Sure, everyone needs work, there is always room for improvement, but it's how you manage it. You could have lineart that isn't clean, add some colour, a bit of texture, and it's great looking.
The thing is, there have been tests on this sort of thing. Legit scientists and all that. They have found that many people prefer a sketch to a clean style, based on how our brains work. You focus on one thing, and the rest is a blur. Your peripheral vision. With a sketch, it's closer to real life, and it's less for your brain to focus on. So it's probably better like that anyway. Not even getting into how much easier it is to show movement and emotion. xD
