Why are you using a helmet base?

I picked up the Bike Helmet idea from http://www.nicodemus.org/fursuit/cfsteps.php and then took the mesh tech from http://www.matrices.net and adapted it to my own version of a head base.

I liked the helmet idea because it adds stability, had a ratchet headband, provided a ready structure to begin adding a mesh form to. Its light weight, has a chin strap, is already form fitted to my head and has its own padding. The Cashier at Target was kind enough to sell it to me for $1.50. The helmets range in price from $10-$100 so finding one to fit your needs is easy. This one has a round back, and I just popped the front visor off.

lol you made me paranoid, I had to try it on again and look in the mirror. Its all good, the forhead is not going to be padded by more then 1/2 inch foam if that.

You al have to remember that the foam head is not even close to being actually size.
