This is the primary promotional graphic design for 
rcfm, Rocket City Fur Meet 2012. I'll be Guest of Honor!
It's happening in Huntsville, Alabama; known as "The Rocket City", because after WWII, it was selected for the Army’s rocket and missile development, and for its close history with U.S. space missions. Subsequently, I added lots and lots of spacefaring imagery.
The theme is Decades, and that one word sounds to me dually like "10 years" and some kind of wondrous, magical Spielbergian infinite feeling, so I wanted it to be a literal explosion of eras, iconography, timelessness. The timepiece in the lower part of the design is what I made the unifying image in this convention.
It's happening in just a few days, so I'll only be around for about 72 more hours, then I'm headed to Alabama.

Have a blast at RCFM. I was there last year but can't make it this year.
Huntsville is a great city. I can't get over how so many defense contractors operate there. When you step off the plane at the airport, the first ads you'll see aren't for hotels and tourist attractions - they're for companies that make missiles, helicopters and fighter jets!

Haha, thank you. And yeah, I would have liked to have seen this on a shirt, but the color printing for those were limited to 2 colors, so I went with the gold and white design that was on it. It would have also been nice as well to see this design as a big BIG poster behind the ceremony podium, but it was all kind of final-moments, as you know.
But no regrets-- it all worked out well, and I had a sincere BLAST.
