-Something There That Wasn't There Before from Disney's Beauty and the Beast OSTVERY belated birthday gift for luthiennightwolf and theronblackthorn of their characters having what I'd imagine would be one of their first romantic moments in Luthien's rose garden while she's busily fixing the hair of her not-so-My-Little-Pony (a Gypsy Vanner). Luthien discovered Theron injured and near death and took it upon herself to nurse him back to health in her manor. Theron...well...he has issues and a dark past...and is probably not the most...patient...patient. Oh well, he grows on you after a while.
Done with copic markers, micron inks, colored pencil, india ink, brush pen, and white gel pen on bristol board.

My goddess girl can I just live in your head please? lol This looks SO gorgeous, everything about it. Thank you again for being such a wonderful friend and for making so many pretties for me to hang on my wall. <3 Though its hard to really break it down and say what I like best, the bluish-purple of her gown really goes nicely with the orange butterflies, and you made Theron look positively regal in white (which is not a color I've ever placed him in but it looks good!) elven robes. Also, the horse. The horse Wielder. <333! And the roses....all my loves, all in one picture. Thank you. <3

Anyway, I've been looking forward to the finished version of this, and it's amazing! I just love the detail and color. Also the males expression in the little chibi side-art is so adorable X3

Can't really handle that movie, though. I remember being utterly riveted by it in the cinema, totally swept along by the story, rendered breathless... but the ending was such a disappointment.
