I just realized I left this as a 99% finished sai file on my computer, so I slapped a texture on it, signed it, and I'm uploading it for your viewing pleasure.
Real Life: I'm a pretty small/thin person, and I wear a lot of black. I still rock the same emo cut I did in highschool. I'm realllly pale, and light sensitive. I have a lot of sleep issues, so I have really DARK yucky eye circles. I don't really wear makeup anymore, but I can pull a nice cat eye for special occasions. I always wear sunglasses outside, and people often ask me if I am anemic, or if I have liver problems/cancer/some other illness. I guess I'm kind of gross.
Dream Sona: I’m also super into lucid dreaming, my dad taught me when I was a kid to help me deal with chronic nightmares. The dreamsona thing is the “monster me” I came up with so that I could fight the BAD GUYS in the horrible nightmares I was having back then, and it just kind of never went away, because it has wings and it’s creepy and I just kind of still love it. IDK. I’m a dork. I still look like this in 99% of my dreams.
Zeek: Honorary mention because people associate him with me around the internet now. He's really more of a mascot.
Hat Sona: Just for fun. This is what I would look like if I was from the same alien species as Kev'N, that parasitic OC I have. Fun fact, that's actually what my teeth look like IRL. They're small, and creepy, and a bit gappy, and really really pointy. Kind of useless/annoying for a lot of foods, but I am a champion shredder of beef jerky. Zeek's teeth are also loosely based on mine.
Neph Sona: Me as a Neph. Pretty straight forward. Surprisingly not all that similar to Zeek.
Old Sona: This one is from when I first joined DA, and someone told me I needed a fursona to be part of the community there. I think I was 11. I DIDN’T WANT TO BE UNCOOL YOU GUYS.

The face shape and stripes are the defining features of the sand worm, honestly... So when people see yours, they feel like they've seen it somewhere before, and their mind defaults to the sand worm. It's not saying that your character or the sand worm are unoriginal, it's just a loose association that the mind tries to fill the blanks in. :)
We both kind of just look like black humanoid shapes that somehow... glow? And our features are defined somewhat in gold. It doesn't translate well in art for me yet, unfortunately XD

It's usually pretty good after I realize I'm dreaming and get to changing it around a bit, but I seem to constantly start off in this sort of 'Fog World' where nothing else seems to exist, but I feel like something is there. It is a lot like when I used to experience sleep paralysis, but thankfully goes away just as quickly.
Fun fact; your teeth are like that for a reason!
You should study the evolution and development of teeth! Your ancestors were probably meant to have a meat heavy diet with some light nut eating, and not much carb/grain. Gaps are there for the same reason an alligator's are; to keep meat from rotting between them. No one wants rottymeat teeth.
If you're more interested, there are a few pretty great articles out there on the subject of tooth shape and the evolution and biology when correlated with diet and whatnot, as well as body shape and the like.

We moved, twice, had job situations switch, have barely any net (pretty much only when my phone decides to work... which is nearly never) and are now sort of semi-almost-maybe getting settled... which is sort of like being dead.

im so super sensitive to light too u_u i go outside when its full on sunny and i swear my eyes were gunna melt in their sockets loool D: i must look ridiculous when i go outside, all squinting and half shielding my eyes like "WHAT IS THAT, ITS SCORCHING MY FLESH EEEEGH!"

YEAH, I dunno. I must give off a pretty heavy vampire vibe, too. When I was in highschool there was this weird neo-pagan craze going around, and there were a whole ton of hormonal gothy types that were into it. They walked around in like... a pack. Those guys were CONVINCED that I was some kind of "reincarnated demon queen" and they had some weird name for me that I can't remember. I was terrified of them, and a bit repulsed, and they were always like... doing weird shit, kissing my hand, following me around, asking me for "orders" and asking me to help them in weird "rituals".
I like my fantasy/sci-fi, and I can appreciate a good cosplay or roleplay, but the crazy was too thick there even for me. I was like "NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND I'M JUST GENETICALLY INCONVENIENCED. I'M NOT YOUR QUEEN LEAVE ME ALONEEEEEEE~"
I ultimately ended up creeping around all stealthy, wherever seemed empty and secluded enough to avoid people like that, which probably didn't make me look any more normal. I probably should have filed a report or something for harassment. kgiugugj highschool, why

YEAH. I'm not an albino or anything that extreme but doctors have remarked at how little melanin I have more times than I can count. Lack of melanin or "being fair" leads to so many weird issues with sensitivity to sun and light. It runs in the family, though. At least I know it doesn't come from anywhere strange, and my son seems to have inherited it from me.
same. i cant go outside for like more than 30 minutes. last time i did i got a second degree burn =A=;;; not just red and raw... the way the skin gets when it bubbles and blisters... i dont know why anyone would WANT to be this pale. i swear if i fell in a snowbank i would get lost till it melted. mine like... no one on my mom's side of the family has this pale of skin, so we're guessing it's my mysterious father's fault.

I really don't mind the look, it's who I am, so I play it up a bit. I mostly get disappointed by other people taking the liberty of telling me how gross/scary/offensive/immature/socially disrespectful I am because of how I naturally look and the way I choose to dress. I'd like to think that people would judge me based on my character, rather than assumptions and the stereotypes associated with my appearance. Many people do give me that chance, but I think even more people close doors in their heads for me before I can get a single word out of my mouth.

I totally understand where your coming from - judgmental people are everywhere, and I find whenever I wear some my favorite unique clothing, be it a crazy renaissance dress or just some basic all-black clothing, I get those *looks* and people treat you differently. Kinda makes your skin crawl, even when you're comfortable with who you are. >_< I hate people that believe stereotypes are fact...

My biggest things are paleness, emo hair cuts, wearing black, those really dark eye circles, and light sensitivity. Why? Because I'm allergic to sunlight, too, and am fairly pale (but not as pale as I wanna be), and could NEVER pull off those beautiful emo hair cuts because I have too bright an rosey and pink a complexion. I am not thin.. I am big, even if I lost a bunch of weight I'd still be big. lol I have a giant ass skeleton under all this crazy ass muscle. In any case, I just thought I'd mention that 'cause you sound absolutely AWESOME in my book! : D So yay? I dunno. XD Have a great day.

That's ok. I used to JOKE that my ideal date would be "like a cancer patient". lol I mean, I wouldn't wish cancer on someone, but if a cancer patient asked me out I wouldn't have that "Ew icky" reaction, for sure. Of COURSE, I also put a lot less emphasis on physical appearances than a lot of people do. Appearances are always changing anyway. In ANY case, I rest my case. : D By your own description you are the hotness. lol XD
And, I suppose, everyone gets mixed opinions. SOME people say that I'm totally the hotness. And then other people actually go out of their way to try to make me understand how HIDEOUS I am. (One group of guys actually decided to try to murder me, set me on fire with some tiki torches at a party, because of how ugly I was. But I've also had a lot of people admire my beauty and tell me that they're JEALOUS of me. So I suppose it really is in the eye of the beholder. lol )
