Agreed. Most of my bunnies, especially the mini-lops, had attitudes. They were pretty catlike in personality.

Yes! Our rabbit is very pushy and is constantly letting us know that we've moved something somewhere he doesn't like, or made a noise he doesn't like or or or. But he is still friendly, loves a good head rub. . . but only on his terms. And he's not afraid of anything, either. vacuum cleaners, dogs, cats, he doesn't care until he's startled, and even then he responds with a grunt and a thump rather than running.

I know he's not a representative of all rabbits, but with him in mind and after reading a few websites and forums about rabbits. . . I have a hard time seeing where most of these bunny stereotypes come from.

Rabbits (real rabbits, not the stereotype rabbits) are absolutely amazing and don't get nearly enough love.

Thanks! But they're not supposed to be blowing int he wind actually, just in normal rabbit-whisker position (which is cool anyway).

I've also never seen rabbits as being anything less than warriors...I dunno, maybe it was all the Redwall books I read growing up

I didn't think there were rabbits in redwall? only hares, I believe :P
But yeah, I feel you. Rabbits are definitely not the cuddly easter bunnies that everybody portrays them as!
