It's more like it would melt underwater, so I don't see the point in attempting to.

As a diver, it won't. I usually keep it in the dive bag and trust me, the cold underwater environment helps with making sure it doesn't melt :P

It's usually cold even 10 ft down. of course in the tropics, much less so but it still gets cold around 6pm. Went without a wetsuit once and during that 6pm dive..yeah >_>

Ouch. Sadly I've only been on 5 dives. Only place to really do it here is the lake, and when you have no room to put the gear, you're pretty much dependent on others to provide...so you end up rarely diving. Furthest I've gone down is 20 feet.

well, at least you get to dive. Sadly, I'm currently tied up pursuing my 2nd degree which is in marine biology. Still doing my GED before I head out to hawai'i since my first degree ain't gonna help much in terms of transferable credits

The thing is, those 5 dives were part of the certification. Meaning I haven't gone diving since. D:

Ouch. Get some dive buddies along and head out during summer.
I still remember when I was officially certified. Free Flow Beer Night (for those certified) all the way from the instructor's own bar seaside bar :D

Only people I know who dive around this state live in the states outlining it, over 2 hours away for each. I'm kinda hoping to visit a few diver friends in May, but that's if everything goes well.
