Btw, I have to wonder a bit why you've recently almost completely stopped to resize your pics by yourself and let FA's automatic resizer damage them with too high JPEG compression rate because you had resized your pics by yourself for years.

Dude I never resized my pictures before at all. I always scanned my artwork as Jpg at start and when. I finished them I converted them to Pngs for a. Clearer cleaner look, buuut I switched Laptops to my 3rd one the new. Toshiba satellite laptop with windows 7 and now my works when scanned come out larger than the 1280 size so I choose 150 reduction but don't know what happens in the process
I always used before windows XP and never had to do zip when scanning, my guess is newer program different parameters that get used to do same job?
All I know is that I know how bad JPG images can look like so I always have them as Pngs my uncolored pics come out fine but once I use specific primary colors like reds or orange that's when some quality reduction happens and sadly when you point it out always it gets old
I thank you for noticing the deterioration but I don't know what to do about it just yet.

One possibility is override FA's automatic resizer by reuploading the original PNG file by using the Change submission file function.
