Well! This is my first picture that I've done of Chal, aka Phesto, the Musk Deer that's jockying for, if not completely overwriting, my rabbit as my chief... uh... manifestation? Fursona? Whatever. Anyway. I think this is pretty good considering it's my first real shot at drawing him, and on top of that my first full drawing done with a tablet.
The Mandarin at the side means 'Are you kidding me?', so named for his facial expression (well... eyebrow position).
I would ask for criticism, but I know that it's far from perfect. The muzzle's too low, the head is still visible through the hair, the shape of the ears... I know. I guess I'm fishing for OHGAWDTHISISGOODYOU'REAWESOMECHAL instead.
