Spider-Man is a good hero because he doesn't ignore how much pain he's in, how unfair his life is. he lets himself feel because he knows the suffering of others doesn't take away from his own, it adds to it. The pain of one human is the pain of all humans and in that way he isn't just protecting the weak he's protecting everyone. He doesn't fight out of fear or guilt or hate, just solidarity. just empathy.
