or why Cat being a gossip columnist in 2009 is not only the stupidest thing i have ever heard in my life but also an insult to Cat’s character lmao

1. Started working at the Daily Planet in her first year of college. (1x11)

2. Was Perry White’s assistant until she became a gossip columnist. literally the beginning of her career  (1x02 - 1x14)

3. Became a investigative journalist.

This was never really talked about on the show but we know that that’s her job. She mentions having “one on one exclusive sit-downs with the most influential and powerful people in the world.” (1x11) Also:
