It was a familiar resolution, renewed each night and broken each morning upon waking: never again.
Finished the @ghiralink-week fic (for yesterday’s prompt “daybreak,” though I guess it fits today’s prompt “morning” just as well, too). This has been half-finished in my WIPs since… uh, 2021, apparently… so this seems as good a time as any to let it go :)
I had a vague idea here and it just kind of became its own thing...
