I also enjoy writing an entire paragraph, thinking "you know, I don't actually need to be involved in this conversation," and deleting it
Personally I enjoy writing a paragraph and going "Wait this could be a whole post" and moving it out of the comment section. And then it stays in drafts forever.

As an American, when they said truck load I was imagining an 18-wheeler style truck so I’m not too surprised by the final picture. There has to be like 200 - 300 bags of rice on that truck at LEAST. OPs BIL was incredibly lucky he only had to take 23 bags of rice from that thing.

Did Caine cause the first abstraction by modifying Scratch's mind too much. Which is why he refrains from doing so now. Or did Caine try to fix the first abstraction by applying more modifiers and inadvertently made it way worse. Which is why he barely interacts with them at this point, sending them straight to the cellar. Or was it both.
