“Have you ever thought of dating a singer?” Gamma Jack x fem! Musician reader!! @noomieeagle
You were a musician, not the best job but it was something that made you happy. You play the guitar at a local club with your band. On this particular night, it’s cold out.. your backstage as you prepare your suit, your curves being highlighted by the black velvet, you smile, knowing your gonna make a lot of tips tonight.
You hear the announcement “Everyone please welcome our favorite local band on stage!!” Claps. A LOT. of claps. As you step out onto stage with the rest of your crew, you meet the bright green eyes of a young fellow sitting directly in front of the stage on a leather couch. He was manspread, with hay blonde hair in a familiar swoop.. why could you recognize that hair? Anyways, you begin playing. (Whatever instrument).. As you continue with a few songs, your show finally ends. Everyone claps and your crew exits the stage.
Tired, you decide maybe a drink from the bar will help, you walk back out but this time you enter through the side exit of the backstage, you slump at the bar, ordering some alcoholic drink you’ve never had before, at first taste you make a grimace..
“Whats wrong doll? Don’t like alcohol?” You turn around, to see that same blonde haired man from the leather couch. “Haha, no. I just- it’s not what I expected.” You smile as you explain, you don’t know why.
“Well, pretty, I was wondering if I could buy you a drink?” Leaning close to your ear, he murmurs “You were great out there. I feel like you deserve a reward.” You awkwardly smile, great, now I have to entertain this guy for the rest of the night.
“Since I’m already here,” He says smugly. He sits in the chair next to you, facing you, of course. His eyes were cute so.. it’s fine. “I’m Jack, I’m a regular here.” He shakes your hand. “I’m Y/N, I play here.. I would say work but-..yeah I work here.” Whatever, no need to explain yourself to this.. bum. He orders the drink, a non alcoholic drink this time. You try it, it’s actually good, sweet. “So, tell me about yourself Y/N, besides the fact your so..” He eyes you up and down hungry.. grinning “Beautiful.” Ah, so he’s a “charmer” you never fell for those. “Well, I like to play <insert instrument> and I like hanging out with my friends,-“ He cuts you off. “Boyfriend?” He looks almost jealous.. eyes darkening. “Uh- no I’m single,” you say, intimidated. “Well good good, I wouldn’t be here buying you a drink if you did, anyways.. you think you wanna come back to my place and-“ You cut him off. (Ha) “No, sorry. Not interested, I have a ride.” He licks his lips before looking back to you. “Yeah it’s fine, most dames want a steak dinner and a hug before they come back with me.” Oh? You didn’t expect that reaction. “Well.. nice seeing you but-“ You gulp down both drinks, even the nasty one. “But- I have to go.” You lick your lips saying that, glancing down to his.. god you could just- “hey hey, let me walk you out.. cmon, least I could do for such a.. pretty dollie like you.” Ugh, dollie, really? “Uh huh, fine.” You both exit the bar looking up at the sky, it’s actually a beautiful night out, you call your uber. “So uh, no goodbye kiss or sum eh?” Goodbye kiss?? Really??? “Oh.. uh.. like no..” You murmur awkwardly. “Please, for a handsome fella like me?” “No.” You repeat again, but he keeps bugging you, all smug and tall and stupid and cute and!- You kiss him. Hard. Quick.
He grabs your waist to stable you, when you pull back your looking up at him, his face with plastered with a smirk. “Well, thanks for that, eh what was it? Y/N..” This guy didn’t even remember you name! “Yeah yeah, you’re welcome cause it’s not happening again.” Your uber pulls in, signaling it’s your time to go. “Well, Y/N, my love, I can’t wait to see you play again sometime..” You smile, even after all you’ve been through tonight. “Yeah yeah, I’ll see you then Jack.” He lifts your hand to his mouth, giving the back of your hand a kiss. You feel warm. You get in the uber, waving goodbye as you watch his figure get smaller and smaller. God, you can’t wait to see him again.
