you know what I think is absolutely beautiful? Gandalf is basically a low-rank angel sent by God himself to Earth, he's incredibly powerful and he chooses to spend his time around hobbits, kind and simple folk who don't give a shit about power or might or wealth like men do. He makes fireworks for them and smokes their weed and is close friends with Bilbo Baggins, local guy who left for more than a year! Gandalf's pretty awesome.
