update show up every time

it tells me there is update...i select yes to update
then it shows me the log file...i :wq from it...
then it asks again for yt-x update...i press y and was prompted to password...
after password app just closes and that is all...
when i open it again it asks for update again all over...when i press no and skip all that it opesns yt-x but it anoys me

ohh did you install it as root. if so just manually update with package manager or sudo yt-x update
