Hello, just noticed this library.

Wanted to say I've been working on something similar with a few other people. Our library is a heavily refactored (and now pure-safe) Rust translation of yubico-piv-tool:

I think it'd be great if we could somehow collaborate, and I'm open to ideas as to how.

Sorry for the slow response.

I'm happy to help, but I don't have a ton of time to devote to it. :/ I'm mostly building this library for use by my project pwm (https://github.com/CmdrMoozy/pwm), rather than building it for its own sake.

I think at this point my library basically supports the features I need. As you point out it is unsafe (in that it relies on pcsc_sys). I'm thinking, if in the future I need some new feature which would be a significant amount of work, or I find bugs, I'll take a serious look at switching over to yubikey-piv.rs instead, and contributing if it has any gaps for me. :)
