IAP is not initialized in release

IAP is not initialized in the release.
I built the APK, everything worked on the test phone (via Sandbox), the test purchase window opened. The same APK was sent as a version update. The version was accepted, but when downloading it from AppGallery, the IAP is not initialized, but the usual APK dropped "over the wire" works (Sandbox is disabled). What could be the problem?
