Description
I would like to have (course) statistics displayed displayed in various places in ALeA.
Here are some examples; I would like to use this issue to track ideas.
- (from the BoF) How many students are enrolled in my course (this semester, previous semesters, overall in ALeA)
- (from the BoF) How many quizzes were taken (in my course, overall, per learner), and what were my average points/grades/bonus points. Graphs over the semester weeks would be interesting (e.g. to show to the students).
- (from the BoF) how many students view the videos (over time).
- (from the LMP) How many views/answers/self-assessments/... have happened --> for the ALeA system, for my course, from me.
- (from the LMP) how are the learner models evolving (I really like the cube diagram from https://courses.voll-ki.fau.de/exp/pp_teachers_and_tas (which does not seem to be working at the moment) I think we can build this already.
- (from the domain model) How many concepts are used/introduced/used-but-not-introduced (e.g. in my course) how many examples, quiz questions, ...
- ... I am sure there are many more ideas ...
The main idea we need to design is that there are quite a few stats venues (instructor/learner/cohort/ALeA dashboards e.g.) where stats didactic can be displayed (and which determine the scope of the stats). We need a general framework where we can just add more statlets (the ideas above) as "plugins".
BTW, I think that for all the statlets, there should be a "definition" in https://gl.mathhub.info/smglom/voll-ki that can then be used for documentation in the user interface (possibly with a guided tour).
