Describe the feature you'd like
My customer who operates on AWS Govcloud has a very high bar for security requirements. They have expressed the need for a checksum process as they are adopting this solution. This would be an additional safety checksum mechanism to verify that a file hasn't been corrupted or altered during transfer or storage.

It would be good to include checksum validation for the zip file that is included in the template for creating Lambda functions also.
