Logging in RiakNode printed in default but not enabled in default

Hi, 

From some time I have a problem with RiakNode logging. Basically there are a lot of messages logged in debug even thought I do not enabled the debug logging.  
These messages are printed in var/messages.

Is there a modality to stop this or to change it to info.
