Cyclone DDS Support

Hi, i would like to use cyclone DDS on my jackal robot with ROS Humble 2. Changing implementation to rmw_cyclonedds_cpp into the robot.yaml is not enough.
Could someone could help me?

Hi @tonybaltovski i put this line on the robot.yaml:

middleware:
      implementation: rmw_cyclonedds_cpp
      discovery: simple

and the platform does not start (no topic visualized). How i can configure cyclone on my jackal robot?

Hello,

I am also interested in running CycloneDDS (or any other DDS other than FastDDS really) on the Jackal. It seems CycloneDDS is supported for the A200 model (https://docs.clearpathrobotics.com/docs/ros2humble/ros/#supported-middleware). Could it be possible to enable it also for the Jackal? Is the problem related to the Micro-ROS note in the linked page? Thanks a lot,

Hey there,

interested in running CycloneDDS on the Jackal as well.
Specific reason?
At least to my experience CycloneDDS tends to play nicer with things like nav2 for example.
