Changing the Layer Definition Expression should be applied directly, not removed and reapplied.

When using the QueryBuilder as a Toc filter, the definition expression is removed and re-set when the query is changed. This causes the view to show all features for a short time. Our customer thinks this is irritating and that the filter should be applied directly.
