This package does not work on my Debian instance. I checked the Makefile and I see you are including /System/… and not something like /usr/lib/jvm/jdk1.7.0_07/include for linux-based environments.

Are there any plans for adding support for linux?

No plans right now. I don't have a linux machine so I have no need for it, but I'll definitely accept patches.
