So you wanted to turn up the brightness of a light? Are you trying to turn up the brightness of the device running the hotword example?

Can you try to give an absolute brightness, ie. "set the brightness to 80"?

Yes, thats right.

I can set absolute brightness without a problem

Can you edit the hotword sample to print out the JSON output? I imagine it's a Device action, but I don't know what it would be sending.

Relative changes do not work as there's no flow to obtain the current brightness (like a Smart Home QUERY intent)

I cannot print the JSON, it looks like a internal problem.
