Description
Checklist
- I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
- I have cleared the cache of my browser.
- I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
- I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.
Describe the issue you are experiencing
The android status bar is still visible while in fullscreen mode (although missing icons) using the home assistant app on some Lenovo tablets. This behavior is not seen when using hermit browser to create a 'lite app' in fullscreen mode. This is not an issue on my Pixel 8 Pro so it must be related to tablets or the Lenovo ROM.
This is a continuation of home-assistant/android#5539 (comment) where @TimoPtr suggested we need Frontend to support edge to edge.
Describe the behavior you expected
The HA app should be fullscreen without the blank top status bar showing.
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Using a Lenovo tablet install HA
- Open settings and enable fullscreen
- Back out and see the top android status bar still exists taking up space on the page.
