Although there is a new material expressive system, I think we should be focusing on default Material 3 with the current setup, as we have the styles from the original repo which are currently the styles used for default Material 3.
So with that in regard, components that are partially done in labs and could be finished are Card, Navigation Drawer, Bar, Tab, Segmented buttons, and potentially Badge and Item. I think with Badge we should probably add slots into certain items such as Button, Navigation Rail, etc. called 'badge' and then support it through that. As for Item, it just seems to be a sort of Text component, but I'm not sure about that one, what was the initial thought behind that.
