Using db.js as the only db instead of using SQL/API

What would be the best way to load/save/edit data and save it to the db.js file instead of using a traditional db?

I'd just like to be able to save and pull the list from a db.js file like the information was hardcoded in

db.clients = [
{
"Name": "Otto Clay",
"Age": 61,
"Country": 6,
"Address": "Ap #897-1459 Quam Avenue",
"Married": false
},

];

is that possible?
