+## Internal Procedure to be followed when a new CC Chapter is formally organized
+
+A new chapter is deemed to be formally organized when the Network Manager receives the minutes of the First Chapter Meeting.
+At this point, the following procedure shall follow:
+
+## Step 1:
+
+* Updload the First Chapter Meeting Minutes to [this Google Drive Folder](https://drive.google.com/open?id=1IY3JM7p2XL7CZ5H5jeo1AQ5ulrYZtmww)
+* Set the Permissions for the file to "Anyone with the link can view"
+
+## Step 2
+
+* Update the [CCGN Canonical Tracking Sheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TVska58E8G21ejjQwo8KxWAF10p90c-AIfQQsgM8ewg/edit?usp=sharing) by adding the names and email addresses of the elected officials in the 'Chapters' tab.
+
+## Step 3
+
+* Create a new page for the Chapter on the Network Site and add to it the following details:
+	* Date Founded
+	* Name of the Representative to the Global Network Council
+	* Name of the Chapter Lead
+	* Contact details of Chapter (add a mailto: link including the Chapter Lead, the Representative to the Global Network 		council and CC [email protected]
+	* Link to active Social Media (Twitter preferably)
+	* Link to the minutes of First Chapter Meeting
+	
+* Update the [Chapters page on the Network site](https://network.creativecommons.org/chapters/) by adding a link to the new Chapter page and 
+
+## Step 4
+
+* Notify the Interim Membership Committee (IMC), and the wider CC Community on Slack that a chapter has been formed a meeting. These announcements will be posted in the #imc and #general channel on Slack in the following format:
+

+* CC <insert country name here> had their first chapter meeting on <insert date here> and elected the following officials:
+
+* Representative to the Global Network Council: <insert name of elected official> (<tag them on Slack if they're there>)
+* Chapter Lead: <insert name of elected official> (<tag them on Slack if they're there>)
+
+* We now have <insert number of chapters> Chapters:
+
+* List all chapters and when available, tag chapter channels
