centOS does not support downloading java and installing it since 31st Dec, 2021

Brilliant course so far, learning a lot.
I would like to inform you that running yum install java -y in the Dockerfile throws the follows error -
Error - "Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'appstream': Cannot prepare internal mirrorlist: No URLs in mirrorlist"
The mirror appears to be broker since centOS stopped supporting
CentOS Linux 8 had reached the End Of Life (EOL)](https://www.centos.org/centos-linux-eol/) on December 31st, 2021. It means that CentOS 8 will no longer receive development resources from the official CentOS project.

Can you please provide a workaround for this.

SOLUTION -
We should add the following command to convert centOS Linux 8 to centOS Stream
RUN dnf --disablerepo '*' --enablerepo extras swap centos-linux-repos centos-stream-repos -y
RUN dnf distro-sync -y
