[V4] builder.Configuration.GetAWSOptions<T> is gone as a breaking change

Describe the issue

While using the V3 SDK we were configuring S3 Client specific options like ForcePathStyle from our appSettings.json file as it was the recommended way:

var s3Options = builder.Configuration.GetAWSOptions<AmazonS3Config>("AWS:S3");
builder.Services.AddAWSService<IAmazonS3>(s3Options);

Now in V4 of the SDK the generic method for GetAWSOptions is gone and did not find any information in the migration guide on what would be the new way of doing the same?

I checked the extension methods and the default client and options creation, in the NETCoreSetup package, but those have no way of passing in anything read from the configuration.

Provide guidance on how that 2 lines above should look like in V4.

@ashishdhingra it is not just S3, every service which have service specific settings. It is a blocker for us to upgrade for V4 and now blocks even related upgrades like AWS specific .NET Aspire, AWS specific OpenTelemetry...

I agree this could be called out in the migration guide, but Norm added a ServiceSpecificSettings property to the DefaultClientConfig for this specific use case (original PR: #3353 (comment)). For example:

var s3Options = builder.Configuration.GetAWSOptions("AWS:S3");

// With a "AWS": { "S3": { "ForcePathStyle": true } } section in the appsetting file,
// this will include the ForcePathStyle property.
Console.WriteLine(s3Options.DefaultClientConfig.ServiceSpecificSettings);

And then any S3 client created later will have the ForcePathStyle option set:

Get([FromServices] IAmazonS3 s3)
{
    // Outputs true for the setup above
    var s3Config = s3.Config as AmazonS3Config;
    Console.WriteLine($"ForcePathStyle = {s3Config?.ForcePathStyle}");

I hoped that with V4 config and settings will be less....."complex"

The generic overload for GetAWSOptions doesn't exist anymore but this should be enough (no need to pass the service specific settings, GetAWSOptions should handle that transparently):

var s3Options = builder.Configuration.GetAWSOptions("AWS:S3");
builder.Services.AddAWSService<IAmazonS3>(s3Options);
