Description

Hey team, i was trying out the search experience in the new doc site. Search for "SSL", couple of things happened:

  • All results are called (see screenshot), as a naive user if you don't pay attention, you might click on the first link and it will not bring you necessarily to the right SSL configuration page. Ex: if i am looking to configure SSL for elasticsearch, these links are not helpful.
  • None of the results are about Elasticsearch SSL, which i found strange, i can not even scroll in the results. Scrolling will be also just relevant if i noticed as a user that i can see the name of the components in the URL to distinguish them.
  • When i search for SSL Elasticsearch, it shows the link to the old doc to configure Elasticsearch SSL, which has a yellow banner saying "this doc is not maintained anymore ...". When you click the link to the new doc, instead of directing you to the new doc / elasticsearch ssl page, it brings you back to the new doc landing page. As a user, I am lost.
