We did have a few issues for TypeScript support in the past, but felt that we weren't ready to integrate this yet since we had a few maintenance tasks that we felt might need to be done first before focusing on this one. We've decided to try to implement this as part of our 2025 pr05 fellowship program for this summer.

We don't have the official announcement for it, but please feel free to be on the lookout for it on the pr05 repository! Since there is planned work for this and a few older issues that have been opened already, I'll close this one for now, but please feel free to revisit this soon!
