Submission of Python functions in the high performance computing context:

• facebookincubator/submitit - using the same executor syntax but only supports submitting from the head node
• parsl - similar to dask based on spawning workers to execute tasks
• jobflow - worker based
• psij-python - just a interface to the queuing system like pysqa
• taskblaster - similar to jobflow just more command line oriented

More extensive frameworks:

• hamilton - similar to celery, ray and python-rq, more like a task pipeline and without support for high performance infrastructure.
• pipefunc - another light weight tool based on the executor syntax
• covalent - front end similar to prefect
