Tools like pipefunc try to identify the number of parallel tasks a given executor can execute. While they call it cores internally, it is somewhat similar to the max_workers parameter of the Executors in executorlib. https://github.com/pipefunc/pipefunc/blob/main/pipefunc/_utils.py#L301
