Type of Documentation Issue

  • Missing documentation
  • Incorrect information
  • Unclear explanation
  • Outdated content
  • Broken link
  • Code example needs update
  • Other (please describe): adding a specific piece of info to avoid confusion.

Current State

The existing docs explain in detail how to create users with Okta and how to use the SSO.

Requested Changes

More than a change, an addition: It could be beneficial to clarify that users who belong to an organization that uses Okta can't also log in through GitHub. Or, an Okta organization can't have users logging in with Okta and others with GitHub/Bitbucket.

Suggested Content

At the end of the "How to use Single Sign On" section, we could add an "!" Info box explaining something in the lines of the following paragraph:

"!" INFO
Once enforced, Okta will be the sole login method for all users in the organization. Dual authentication methods (e.g., Okta and GitHub/Bitbucket) will not be supported.

Additional Information

Info from (here).

Affects Version

  • Cloud Semaphore
  • Community Edition (specify version):
