Spring Tools for Eclipse, version: 4.30.0.RELEASE keeps on crashing

Spring Tools for Eclipse crashes very often on my MacBook Pro with macOS 15.4.1 .
Also the previous version STS 4.29.0 was crashing and I upgraded hoping this would solve the frequent crashes.
Any idea what is going on?
