consent form is duplicated when using versioning

Bug description

When combining the Cookie consent feature with Mike Versioning, the consent form/popup is repeated in every version. When switching between multiple versions, this quickly becomes distracting/annoying to the user.

I wonder if there is a way to scope the consent to the entire site (all mike versions)?
