I originally read this book when I thought the author was Diana Hoffman and found out it was stolen. It doesn't change the fact that it was actually a really good book. Nic and Victoria; they made a great couple. Granted Nic was a complete douche to her at first but such is the life of a Mob boss.

Victoria; yea, there were a few scenes where I was like "what the funk are you doing?! Leave! Get out! GOOOOO". But, they never listen, and in this instance I was glad that she didn't.

What drove me crazy... There are no chapters. None, you just read and suddenly realize at 3:30 in the morning when you have to wake up in 3 hours to go to work that you finished the entire thing... and loved it.

Really good and well written, just like her other two (one unfinished). If you like an uber-alpha male with a crazy jealous/obsessive streak, or a heroine who finds that trait attractive this is the book for you. Even if its not, you should still read it. It's online, not available in e-book or print and why she would be writing on that website I dont have a clue, but it still was an amazing story.

Everything soular writes is amazing! This story was the second story of hers that I read and to my surprise I loved it even more than I loved Brandon and Sienna's story (and that's saying a lot). Soular has a way of making every single one of her characters come alive. I loved every moment of Nic and Victoria's journey and hope that Soular continues to write more in the future. She truly has a gift.

Would've been better if Nic (the hero) wasn't married to another woman. Sure they were both miserable but it doesn't justify it. I already prefer heroines with a V card. Especially in erotica, because it's more exciting and special when they have their first taste of intimacy with only 1 lover. I preferred Damn Dress to this. First read this on literotica.com in 2008.

Loved it! It is gritty though. The hero is not a saint but I found it believable!

It's not really my type of book but I actually really like it. If I can connect with the H/H, and remember damn near ever word of the story after years.........then it's a keeper :)

I've read and reread this so many times I can't even count. For anyone under 18, please skip this review. Anyone else...if you are looking for a steamy erotica novel, this book is everything and more!

I didn't even know this book was listed in GoodReads, but apparently it is. I first read it online back 4,5 years ago, and I came to read parts of it again and holy smokes...all the scenes are still as fresh and erotic as the first time I read it. Best of yet, Nic and Victoria's love for each other is so organic and fresh...usually Literotica stories are filled with cringey NSFW scenes and characters that read out of a cheesy porn film. But this was truly a love story, and a great one at that.

I'll miss this author's writing, she hasn't posted a story on her usual fanpages in years, so I usually come back to this story or her other work 'Gabriella'. She was even one of the main reasons behind why I grew invested in erotic writing...she's that good!

I don't want to reveal too much about this book, you can read it for free in the Interracial Romance section of Literotica if you're truly interested!

I loved this story so much I have read it several times. If she were to put it on Amazon or anywhere for sale , I would purchase it

Perhaps even better than her remarkable first effort, Damn Dress: A Love Story, which is really saying something. Both are highly recommended.

Loved this book. The drama , suspense. Loved that the woman did not make it easy for the hero to have her back. He had to work to make up for how he treated her. All worked out in the end
