A Jar Full of Mice
by
There was once a house that was full of mice.
That's a nice beginning to this little book that is a fun bedtime read for children (and adults). When a new cook arrives at this house of mice, she makes it clear it's them or her, which means a search for a proper feline mouser.
Needless to say, the household does not find the Mary Poppins of cats, and must suffer through the personalities of Jasmine, Shabby Cat, and finally, the destructive Supreme Mouser.
This is an easy-to-hold book for children, while the illustrations are marvelous, very clean, and could tell the story alone.
Book Season = Year Round (furry & purry)
