I slept on this band for a criminally long time. I think what really grabs me is the versatility on display. Soaring clean vocals, an almost post-punk rhythm section, big-ass drums, even some John Carpenter synths in there… Strong album of the year contender here. Excellent, varied experience here that covers a lot of ground and rewards repeat listens.

Dans ce style, "stoner" prog/psychédélique, Je nomme King Buffalo ex-aequo avec Hypnos 69, un groupe que j'apprécie énormément (en plus mélo et moins groovy). Ce n'est pas un maigre compliment lancé à la hâte. Leur musique a acquis une patte et du panache; il suffit d'écouter les premiers albums pour mesurer l'évolution.

Woooow yes. This album rules, it's like coming across a wallet with $500 in it, in the woods. It's neat because of the value, but it's eerie because there could be a corpse nearby. This is one of my favoritest and uniquest album.
