Art archive/ some place to post my sketches

it’s so cool everyone makes amvs and art and poems and fic and edits and shares them so they can get passed around again and again and someone’s post inspires a drawing or someone’s tags inspire a fic and it just keeps going and everyone is creating for the joy of it. to give themselves a little piece of the story as they see it. it’s very good.

i need a boyfriend. i need a girlfriend. i need to be single forever. i need a toxic situationship. i need a problematically older man to be homoerotically involved with. i need to have gay sex. i need no one to ever touch me ever again in any way. i need top surgery. i need a hug.

the thing about disability is it really does sometimes boil down to "wow i wish i could do that" and then you can't. and it sucks.

accomodations are important but i think they miss the point of this post. sometimes you can't do it. at all. someone needs to do it for you or it will never happen.

"and then you force yourself anyway" folks im starting to think some of you really do not understand what it means to not be able to do things.

did you know that liking (or disliking) a particular ship doesn't actually make you morally superior. yes, even if it's a queer ship. did you know it's actually completely neutral

"but queer ships ARE better" they literally aren't.

that doesn't mean het ships are better. it means there is no difference whatsoever. "wow you're just saying that because you're a gross and probably straight person who likes hetslop" again, staking your identity on being superior and that everyone who disagrees is a bad person... is bad. making assumptions about sexualities and genders ... is bad. saying "i like x ship" is a neutral statement, and fandom really needs to stop with this zero sum "only one take is valid, only one character is good, my favorite is good and every other character is evil" nonsense. first because it's really tiring to deal with and also because i promise it isn't fun. it turns everything into a fight and a contest. it is exhausting. it is a recipe for over-investment and unhealthy attachment.

"yeah but i like x ships better" that's fantastic. that's a neutral statement. the problem is when you go "and everyone who disagrees is the enemy"

yeah no man it's cool that you don't like the female character for having an insufficient development. yeah even if you adore that male character that appeared in two frames of the show. yeah. yeah. yeah. cool. cool.

no you're also very much right. let's get this on the post

"don't worry scientists will invent a way to solve climate change!" They already did... several times over... just the people who didnt like their solutions (cough cough oil companies) had enough cash to shut them up both legally and illegally

its crazy taking gideon coal, guy who problems stem from being taken away from his family too young. and shepherd morgan, who desperately wanted a family but felt like he doesn't deserve one. and when he finally did, it was ripped away from him. and then making THOSE guys family in an alternate universe. like they dont even know...

you all deserve to feel so happy and alive

and healthy and warm and loved and hydrated and well fed and well rested and never ever ever alone

Nikkie mentioned on the patreon gaming stream about being seen as a bitch by the fandom and I need anyone who thinks like that to kindly fuck off. She is a real person so she's not always gonna be the way you think she should be. She probably sees all the comments and notes. If you can't be nice than be fucking quiet. Without Nikkie we would not have many of the campaigns we love. Put some damn respect on her name.
