Bats! The mixed media artbook/zine I’ve been working on for a long time about punk bats and parasites is finally available!
“Inspired by 90s, 2000s, and 2010s goth, punk, and otherwise niche animation, music, games, and comics. It started as pen doodles inspired by the works of Johnen Vasquez and a lot of Deviantart comics I read in middle school and much of the artwork was done in notebooks with ballpoint pens.
It’s been more than two years in the works and includes monsters, shitty poems, harsh palettes, recipes, a guest piece from the incredible artist Kelly C, and dozens of full-page, colored illustrations.”
Bats! Is a zine/concept art book about a pair of bat siblings and the parasitic worms invading their crumbling tower city home.
