Liu Mingyan, among many other gym activities, does pilates. And no, it's not only because Sha Hualing, her gym op with whom she has (supposedly) weirdly intensive rivalry with homoerotic undertones. No. She also made a friend there - Ning Yingying. And it's Ning Yingying who made the whole ordeal so much better - even if not directly.

Because Ning Yingying has two best friends - Luo Binghe and Ming Fan, typical gym bros, who think that pilates can't be that hard. To prove them wrong, she invites them to go with her to one session. They, foolishly, agree.

The hour goes as expected - Ming Fan and Luo Binghe get so winded they look like they're ready to die then and there, and the girls have a laugh at their expense. But then their pilates instructor comes up, and with all the sincerity tells them that "they did really great for their first time, and it's always nice to see men joining steorytypically feminine activities, they must be really secure in their musculinity".

And both of them fold like wet paper towels. (Though in very different way - Ming Fan because he is fatherless and seeks appreaciation, and Luo Binghe - also fatherless - immidietly becomes obsessed with the man but as a romantic conquest.)

Mingyan finds it all very inspirational.

The pilates instructor is, naturally, Shen Qingqiu.

Ming Fan starts attending all the activities that SQQ coaches that Ning Yingying is going to, bc he does not have the confidence to go there without her. Binghe, however, is more ambitious, and just goes to literally every. single. thing. that Shen Qingqiu is running.

It comes to a stop when SQQ approaches LBH after one of the classes and LBH is so sure he'll get a date, but instead SQQ tries to very gently ask if everything is okay, because it's really unhealthy to be at gym literally everyday, sometimes more than once, and maybe if he's striding towards a specific goal SQQ might help him compose a training regiment that would be healthier than what he has going on now. Luo Binghe agrees. Luo Binghe is a certified phisiotherapist and is very aware of what a good plan should look like. It will not stop him from getting a date out of it.

Shen Qingqiu realises it was a date 10 years later when his best friend, Shang Qinghua, asks what their first date was and their answers have 6 years difference between them.

#qj!gyx au <- ZZL fails to attack the water prison, meaning GYX lives! After SQQ's trial, where certain things come to light, SQQ takes him into Qing Jing as a disciple. (primary ship is still Bingqiu! Binghe has a one-sided rivalry with GYX while GYX still has a puppy crush on SQQ)

#botw!svsss au <- A primarily Liushen, but potential Bingliushen au in which Liu Qingge and Shen Yuan take the roles of Link and Zelda from botw respectively. Still a lot of brainstorming being done for this one, but it should be noted that plot points/characters may be changed from canon!

#courtesan!sy au <- A jiuyuan au in which SY transmigrated as a fellow street kid to Yue Qi and Shen Jiu and eventually ended up at the Warm Red Pavilion as a Courtesan. Shen Jiu upon discovering him during his disciple days, has made it his mission to get SY to the sect (and marry him), while SY would very much like to Not go to the sect destined to be razed by Luo Binghe thank you very much <3

#blind sqq au <- An au in which after throwing Luo Binghe into the Abyss SY!SQQ has a qi deviation from his grief and emotional distress, blinding him. (No ship decided for this one!)

#xin mo sy au <- A Binggeyuan Au where SY transmigrates into Xin Mo as it's sword spirit! He has Very high standards of who Binghe should be spending his effort on (no he is not jealous, it's not his fault so many of his potential wives don't have the right motivations or intentions-)

#imperial tutor! sy au <- Another Binggeyuan au in which Post Bingge v. Bingmei, Bingge started his hunt for his "nice shizun" unaware that SY had transmigrated into PIDW and established himself as the Imperial tutor to Bingge's kids. Eventually, Bingge takes notice of this and how similar he is the to the other SQQ and is now trying to court him (it is not going well, SY thinks they're just friends, Bingge is suffering <3)

#abyss mentor sy au <- A Binggeyuan au in which Shen Yuan transmigrates into an NPC rogue cultivator traversing the Abyss and finds Luo Binghe after he had been tossed into the Abyss by SJ. He uses his knowledge of the Abyss to help LBH survive it, leading LBH to develop a major crush on him as this is some of the first kindness he's seen in A While. (He immediately starts making a 100 step plan to court this man lmao)

#soul ritual au <- A Shen bros au in which Older!SY dies during the time they are slaves. Later on, SJ!SQQ planned the qi deviation/transmigration through a soul ritual to pull SY's soul (That was now the SY in the modern world) into his body in order to give his Gege a happy life.

#custody battle au <- A Qijiu au where QD disicple!SY is unknowingly is the midst of a custody battle over himself due to Qijiu's complicated past and feelings for each other. Also bingyuan as SY is fully using the fact that SJ and YQY both want him as their disciple (/kid) to make sure binghe has a good time

I adore It when fanfics put modern elements in it BUT, BUT IMAGINE — Lqg trying to court Sqq for such a long time that he's starting to just accept that this 'oblivious' act is Sqq way to reject him. Well, till he brings home a piece of jewelry he found — a ring, to be precise — ,which reminded him too much of Sqq, and gave it to him.

He's not getting the usual "thank you, shidi" or "woah, is that _" but an Sqq who looks at him with so many emotions that he couldn't possibly try to discern them. The only give away that those weren't mostly negative emotions were those sparkling eyes, which looked at him as if he brought Sqq an actual star down. When Lqg heard the words of acceptance for the first time, he was so happy that he smiled.

Tbh I think Sqq would definitely need a whole few minutes to actually get his brain to function properly again AND to accept some things about himself (his not so 'straightness') and lqg (his apparently also not so 'straightness').

but what makes this au always so appealing, is that Lqg doesn't understand WHY a ring did the trick. No matter what he brought the other, it never resulted in any romantic reaction. Rare beasts, flowers, artifact etc... But a simple ring did it.

What also makes this so fun to think about is that Sqq would normally assume that they are now on their way to marriage and thus plans accordingly. Lqg is thinking that Sqq is just trying to speedrun their relationship because he would assume that they're "only" dating and will later on get married.

Little Red Riding Hood AU

Beginning with Little Lamb Luo Binghe just trying to deliver medicine across a mountain to his sick mother.

In the original (calling it Immortal Huntsman Way) the spirit wolf Shen Qingqiu attacks LBH leaving him injured, without medicine, and unable to make it home in time. Binghe swears vengeance and trains as a huntsman. His powers are awakened when he defeats huntsman lord Mobei-Jun. He also defeats the huntress Sha Hualing. He's made plenty more enemies along the way and goes about getting his revenge by killing not only Shen Qingqiu, but his whole pack and burning the mountain where they lived. You know how that goes.

So, Shen Yuan wakes up, injured, exhausted, and alone on a mountain. He for some reason is a wolf but he has a system, and it has a gps! It leads him around the mountain to a little trail. He limps out and almost runs into a cute kid wearing a little red cape and a basket of medicine and food. Shen Yuan is hungry but he isn't going to hurt a child.

The kid, baby Bing, is terrified but Shen Yuan is a talking magical wolf and offers to walk with him across the mountain. Binghe is worried but the wolf says "You are a child, there could be bandits or hungry animals or a landslide."

Shen Yuan does protect Binghe from some passing bandits just by being there and looking scary. He limps the whole way without complaining and when they get to Binghe's mother SY leaves as to not scare her. Good deed done now SY ks ready to be worried about where he is and what's going on.

SY is given the quick rundown and is horrified to be The Big Bad Wolf himself, Shen Qingqiu. He gets actual directions to his pack, gets healed, and a meal. His packmates (the other peak lords) are shocked Sqq is being nearly pleasant...I could go in a very weird direction with this. Hold up.

He requests their sole male cortison, a man by the name of Shen Jiu, and after a short but interesting conversation reguarding cultivation he decides to buy out Shen Jiu's contract and Shen Jiu insists they marry. Shen Yuan must now deal with the fact that he just bought a wife, and is very quickly falling for him but wants to keep his feelings under wraps to prevent Shen Jiu from being uncomfortable.

Very cute fic, very fond of this one, I've read it 3 times and the sequel One Wife Two Many which adds Yue Qi to their relationship

- What If We Could

Shen Yuan transmigrates. And transmigrates. And transmigrates. And transmigrates. And-

A timeloop of sorts, except we're viewing what I assume is the final one. Honestly this fic upsets me in a way that makes me rant about it, but also not in a bad way. I'm upset on behalf of Shen Yuan, who's horribly tormented by everyone on Qing Jing Peak and it doesn't even exclude Luo Binghe who hates him. He has no respite except for the system who at this point in the loops feels bad for him and has grown rather attatched to the traumatized Shen, read at your own risk because it's honestly kind of a lot to me but I can't not reccomend it anyway!

- Maybe... Fourth Times The Charm?

Shen Yuan is Shen Jiu, abandoned by Luo Binghe post canon and regaining his memories of his first life as the Shen Jiu he dies of a broken heart only to be sent back in time for a fourth life, his third as Shen Qingqiu. He tries things differently this time.

Unfinished, likely won't be finished due to how long it's been, but honestly the ending point it leaves on doesn't particularly upset me

- Disciple... Are You Flirting With Me?

Shen Yuan transmigrates as a disciple on Qing Jing Peak in an a/b/o PIDW and is given the task of seducing the scum villain! He does not want to, but he keeps finding himself thinking about him in ways he wouldn't have expected.

BAMF Shen Yuan in an overpowered body, honestly it slays. Ongoing.

A year after Shen Yuan's death his siblings go over his comments on PIDW! But oh no. They died!? Now all three of his siblings are in PIDW with him! His Da-ge is Mobei-Jun, his Er-ge is Liu Qingge, and his Meimei is Ning Yingying!

Unfinished, likely won't be finished, but an enjoyable read that's inspired a few of my own wip fics of a Da-ge Mobei-Jun because I honestly especially liked him in this especially his relationship with Shang Qinghua

Shen Yuan transmigrates as Linguang-Jun at birth! Fights the system because he can't BE ooc since he was born as him. Becomes a great uncle and father figure to Mobei-Jun. I love this one, I also love that the author teased a potential sequel that could have system x shen yuan which would make sense upon reading it, they have chemistry.

Shen Yuan transmigrates as Su Xiyan and immediately transes his gender to male by "accident" with the only cure being papapa with a heavenly demon! Good thing that'll never happen. He meets with a disguised noble and keeps in contact with him to rant about books. Tianglang-Jun, on the other hand, can already see him in red.

- Amidst A Golden Autumn

On the day Shen Jiu is to join the peak, Shang Qinghua awakens to find his system is GONE. Nowhere to be found. His first order of buisness is to guide Shen Jiu to a different peak, the beast peak, where he'll be treated much better than Qing Jing.

Not Yue Qingyuan friendly in this fic but it's a great one I legit think about this one all the time it's inspired several of the ideas still floating around in my brain.

Shen Yuan transmigrates as an incubus in the abyss, but he has no idea that he's an incubus! Luo Binghe, on the other hand, is very aware he's an incubus and keeps waiting for him to turn around and do his incubus thing. He does not. Binghe is confused, but strangely attracted to this odd demon.

Mobei-Jun does something he shouldn't and the system gets its hands on him because of it, sending him to a new strange world where he's a CEO tasked with keeping his company afloat within the year if he ever wants to return home. MoShang

- Another Time, Another Place

Liu Qingge dies at the hands of a different Luo Binghe trying to protect Shen Qingqiu and is transported into a dogblood drama that still has cultivation in it and is tasked with things that confuse him. An ex-girlfriend? Losing his apartment? All he wants to do is cultivate with Shen Yuan, who he finds immediately with the help of the system. Shen Yuan, now back in his original body, had no idea cultivation existed in his world, and Liu Qingge is determined to help him with it to extend his short lifespan.

Very good, honestly kinda beautiful I got very vivid imagry from this one while I was reading it and I don't get to have such a detailed imagining very often anymore

- Regardless Of The Hardships

Shen Yuan transmigrates as Mu Qingfang, who had searched him out after regaining his memories as a god and plucks the most fitting soul to take over for him so he can ascend to the heavens again. Shen Yuan suffers, because he overworks himself while acclimating and gets too attatched. Somewhere along the way, he and Shen Qingqiu get close and begin to fall in love.

- Supernanny Shen (Added after posting)

Shen Qingqiu dies and is given a second life by the system, placed back into his body before joining Cang Qiong Mountian Sect and given the role of a "User Guide". Given a choice of how far back, he chooses right before he was taken by the Qiu household. Unfortunately, the system put him JUST before.

He works hard for his cultivation with what he knows in secret before running away to make a life for himself as a rouge cultivator while he waits for this mysterious "user" to enter the world. BAMF Shen Jiu very fond of him in this fic tbh he gets into a little mischif and I love the visuals of his home so much

OKAYOKAY SO ABOUT THE DRAGON TRANSMIGRATOR AU THING I HAD CONCEPT ART ABOUT

OKAY SO in this au SY and SQH get reincarnated into dragons :D (hence the name) without a system and they kind of just goof off at first (not together, they don't meet up for a while). FIRST UP IS SY

So the idea I had in mind for Shen Yuan was that he transmigrates (obviously) into an egg. He's about two days from hatching and he thinks that he's just dead, that this darkness (his head is tucked in his tail fur so he can't see it when light peeks through the shell) is death. He recounts all of the novels he's read and curses Airplane, y'know the usual.

Then he starts hatching, instinctively. He's exhausted by the end of it and his eyes are swollen shut. He can barely hear anything and his nose is clogged with slime--but he can feel. Suddenly it's "I'm not dead?" Somehow he survives (He wouldn't have made it if it was winter, but it was the middle of a warm summer and his body was currently functioning on it's own.) and by the time he opens his eyes he's somewhat used to this new body. Of course it'd be his first time ever seeing himself but he got over his shock pretty quickly in favor of obsessing and getting excited over his new body.

Anwyays his species of serpent/dragons nests in high places. They don't usually abandon the nests but SY's egg wasn't hatching and it was migration time. If SY ever finds his family they'll welcome him with open arms but at the time of his hatching he's all alone and he's also falling down a mountain.

He rolls down the hill and his little peach-fuzz length fur gets all dirty and sooty. People end up mistaking him for something else, he gets chased, and bebe SY meet street rat SJ and they are at eachother's throats. (SJ wants to eat SY while he's weak because they (Him and YQ) need food and SY just kinda isn't a big fan of being eaten)

Anyways they end up in a life or death situation together (SJ & SY), SY saves SJ because he didn't want to watch a child die and all of a sudden it's SJ, YQ, and their odd pet dog SY. SY's there when SJ gets captured and YQ and SJ uses him as a type of messenger bird (He agrees) and they avoid the miscommunication issues because SY's like "Yue Qi I'm telling SJ that you almost died" and ya

Anyways SY ends up thinking YQ and SY are dead (SY gets captured and settled on the beast taming peak as the PL tries to tame him) and he burns it down, follows Wu Yanzi and manages to find YQ (SY's still on the beast taming peak) and zomg wholesome epic reunion!

That's all I have planned for right now (SY's gonna take a while to get like super big, so I think it'd be funny for SJ to wear SY like a fur boa sometimes)

SHANG QINGHUA'S TURN

Okay so he's a flower/plant type demon and he initially thought he was abandoned in a field of flowers (He didn't know he wasn't human yet) until he sees his very large family (large in number, not large in size). His mom nudges him off of his back onto his feet with her nose and SQH thinks he's gonna die until he sees his reflection in his mom's eyes and he's like "oh shit"

His family actually really loves him and teaches him alot and SQH also loves his family. Things are working out for SQH until he meets MBJ (right after he met OG!SQH, he's injured or whatever bla blah somehow MBJ ends up hunting in the area) and SQH accidentally eats MBJ's prey (MBJ was stalking the prey only to watch it get eaten by a flower) and MBJ's like okay I'll just kill SQH but SQH's like omg hot sexy man who probably wants to kill me, what do I do? and he rolls over to show submission (stupidly)

MBJ's intrigued because why on earth would this thing not run or attack when he clearly expressed his killing intent. Then he's like hmm maybe keeping this as a pet wouldn't be so bad so he petnaps SQH to the north and SQH thinks he's going to die but he's a breed with a cold flowering period and ya he survived but like barely.

Anyways I think it'd be funny if MBJ uses SQH to keep OG!SQH in check. So now OG!SQH has to appease MBJ and his dog (SQH is very willing to be MBJ's dog) and it's hell for him but MBJ doesn't care. MBJ thinks that SQH is his most loyal subordinate because SQH ends up saving him. (MBJ got poisoned for plot purposes and SQH'S like oh snap I make poisons I can probably counter poison that, and it works.)
