Hi. Hi hi hi hi. Hello. Ignore this acc pls. It’s used only for reblogs, following, and liking posts. Not a srs acc with posts.

Hating other writers makes you a better writer and you need to embrace that being a ranked competitive hater makes you more powerful.

I'm cooking like I haven't cooked in years with a new story idea. I'm partly motivated by being excited for my story, but I'm especially motivated by being a 24 karat HATER. I'm writing a villain story, and the seed that first inspired me to write was my absolute DISDAIN for the fact that every villain story is either a morality play where we all gather to see the villain's downfall in the end, or some hackneyed bullshit where the villain's arc is justified by some tragic backstory out of their control or misunderstood morally good motive.

I hate that so much. I am a turbo-charged hater with a gas tank filled with hate. If no one is going to do it right, then I'M going to do it right. I'm going to do it right and I'm going to do it better. I'm building a tower with my bare hands so that I can look down at all the writers that I HAAAAATE.

This strategy works. I wrote the New Jersey Rats because I thought it was stupid that every mafia romance love interst was either the boss or his heir. That is the most popular thing I've ever written. I produced that entire series at record speed because my burning desire to prove that I could do it better than the rest kept me writing and editing until 4AM night after night. I didn't even have coffee, all I needed was hatred.

Me when I'm reading a story from the villain's perspective and I reach their sympathetic backstory and/or the explanation of their secretly good but tragically misunderstood motives.

Gotta continue drawing gang, if not for you then for your inner tween self who makes vampire oc’s
